I create functional design projects from small to large spaces
Interior room design
Children’s room, bedroom, bathroom, living room or kitchen – regardless of the size, I develop a full interior design project that includes all key stages (technical brief, layout solution, sketches, working drawings).
Apartment interior design
I design interiors for both large and small apartments, taking into account all existing requirements for layout changes. I work in different styles based on the client’s preferences. When selecting furniture and finishing materials, I primarily follow the client’s budget.
Country house interior design
Interior design of a glued timber house, a log house and a sauna – these are examples of my recent projects. Designing wooden homes has its own specifics, which is why not every designer can handle such tasks. I have experience working in a studio specializing in wooden house interiors, and we continue to create projects together in different styles.
Design supervision
In some cases, upon the client’s request, I provide design supervision. I make sure to take care of everything related to the project – from construction contractors and equipment suppliers to the quality of finishing materials.
About me
My name is Nadezhda Emesheva and I’m an interior designer.

Most of my clients come to me after having a negative experience with other designers. Some weren’t heard and were pressured into changing their vision, others received beautiful renderings with no specification because the designer understood the client’s budget wouldn’t cover all that beauty. Complex projects that require solving non-standard problems, original and sometimes seemingly crazy ideas, as well as projects with strict space or budget limitations – all of this has become my specialization.

Any design studio needs to run several projects at once, since it has to cover rent and staff salaries. In such conditions each designer may juggle 4–10 projects simultaneously, and ideally those projects need to be typical and repetitive to be completed faster.

I don’t carry these monthly overhead costs, which allows me to offer a truly individual approach – projects that require deep thinking, more time than usual and a wide range of alternative solutions.

And even if you don’t have a crazy idea but simply want coziness and beauty, you’re welcome to reach out.

I will do my best to bring all your dreams and your vision of beauty to life, surrounding you with attention and care.

Stages of project development
Development of the technical brief
One of the most important stages of project work. During discussions with the client we fill out a detailed brief that captures all their wishes for the future home. To make it easier to define stylistic preferences I often use visual references. All collected information is then formatted into a detailed technical brief which, once approved by the client, becomes the starting point for creating the project.
Layout solution
Every designer will agree that a well thought out layout is the foundation of a successful interior project. When developing the layout, I rely on ergonomic requirements and the client’s preferences to ensure that the final interior is both beautiful and comfortable to live in.
Determining the stylistic concept of the interior
At this stage, the stylistic concept of the interior is determined, including the materials and color scheme – in other words, the entire visual component of the design project. Collages are created for all rooms, showcasing the furniture, structural solutions and finishing materials.
Project visualization
After the collages are approved, a detailed 3D visualization of each room is created based on them. The 3D images reflect the previously selected interior elements and finishing materials.
Working documentation
Creating the working documentation for an interior design project includes a complete set of all construction drawings, as well as the finishing schedule and specifications. These documents list the suppliers of furniture, lighting and finishing materials used in the project, taking the project budget into account.
Designer’s supervision
In some cases, at the client’s request, author’s supervision is available. What is included in author’s supervision:
  • Weekly site visits and control to ensure construction work follows the project plans
  • Adjustments to the working documentation when needed
  • Consultations for the client and all contractors involved in executing the design project
  • Approval of wall paint samples, furniture and more
If there is an agreed specification approved by the client, as part of author’s supervision I also provide project procurement services for furniture, lighting and finishing materials: I contact suppliers and monitor delivery timelines.

"Quiet Luxury" Apartment Design
Luxury can be subtle – that was the idea I wanted to convey in this project. I used warm wood tones, light walls and textiles in complex shades to create a sense of refined calm. Soft furniture shapes and carefully selected decor make the interior feel cozy and alive.
In the living room, the combination of cream furniture and deep blue accents draws attention, adding depth and character. The kitchen follows the same style as the living room, which makes the entire space unified and inviting.
The result is an apartment where you want to slow down and enjoy the quiet.
"Yantarny Residential Complex" project
The main idea of the project is to create a space that feels unified and harmonious from the entrance to the bedroom. The interior is built on natural shades, soft contrasts and clean contemporary forms. There are no sharp accents – instead, the subtle interplay of materials, light and textures does the work.
In the bedroom, the central element is the mural, which sets a lyrical and calm mood. The warm terracotta headboard supports the overall palette and adds coziness. The bathrooms are designed in the same manner – restraint, clean lines, a mix of natural tones and deep accents in the furniture. This approach maintains a calm visual rhythm that makes all rooms feel like one cohesive composition.
The kitchen–living area is done in a light palette and complemented by warm wood tones and soft textiles. This creates a sense of home comfort and visual lightness. The interior turned out balanced – modern yet cozy, with a soft atmosphere you’ll enjoy coming back to.
"Contemporary classic"
The project was created for those who appreciate a sense of spaciousness, clean lines and a calm warm palette. The interior combines contemporary aesthetics with soft natural tones that make the space look bright, cozy and airy.
At its core is a mix of warm wood, light marble and accent brass hardware. The living room flows smoothly into the kitchen and dining area, forming a unified harmonious space for relaxation and conversation. The bedroom is designed in gentle beige shades, making it an ideal place for rest and recovery.
The bathrooms feature an elegant marble texture with minimalist lines and warm metallic accents. Solutions that make the space visually cleaner were used – hidden storage systems, glass partitions, well considered tile geometry.
The project brings together modern aesthetics and a sense of homey warmth, creating an interior that remains timeless and comfortable for many years.
Odintsovsky District
This interior was created around a sense of purity and light. Its foundation is soft contemporary minimalism with warm natural accents. The homeowners wanted a space that feels easy to breathe in and pleasant to spend time in as a family. That’s why I focused on calm shades, a mix of white surfaces and wood, and very clean, understated forms.
Special attention went to the kitchen – it turned out functional yet visually uncluttered. A light base, graphic lines and delicate lighting create an airy feeling. The interior is well balanced: warm, cozy and still modern.
"Elegant minimalism"
The clients purchased this house in an unfinished state. The walls, partitions and door openings had already been built, and they did not want any major changes. So one of my tasks was to work with these existing conditions and correct the planning mistakes made during construction using cosmetic solutions. In the living room, we had to slightly shift a door opening and paint the doors the same color as the walls. The clients weren’t afraid of a dark accent wall in the living room, which was a big stroke of luck for me!
"Tiffany-colored" apartment
“I want an apartment in Tiffany color” – that’s how this project began. The three-room apartment with panoramic glazing was significantly expanded by incorporating the loggia. The interior turned out eclectic, as it combines elements of contemporary, eco and loft styles.
In the color scheme I used one of the most striking combinations, in my opinion – turquoise and chocolate.
The distinctive feature of this project is the richness of textures and finishes: wooden panels, porcelain stoneware, textile wallpaper, paint and decorative plaster, as well as the use of deep saturated colors.
Airy Scandinavian Attic
This airy attic space was designed for a young woman. We divided the room into several functional zones: a guest area for hosting friends, a workspace and a bedroom. The Scandinavian style at the core of the design is, in my view, one of the most suitable solutions for attic interiors.
Bright apartment in French neoclassical style
I believe that one of the principles of good design is creating a space where the exterior blends harmoniously with the interior. This apartment is located on the seafront, so the sky blue, the deep tones of the water and the warm sun reflected in the sea naturally flowed indoors – onto the furniture, décor and walls.

The clients wanted the apartment to feel spacious and bright, so most of the walls are painted in Scandinavian white, and the rooms are not overloaded with furniture or décor.

To support the client’s love for contemporary art, I filled the interior with vibrant paintings and sculptures.
Apartment for cat lovers in "Green Park Residential" Complex
In this small apartment a young family and a Bengal cat will live, and the children’s room (we really hope!) will soon welcome a baby. The main challenge of this project was staying within a rather limited budget, so for the storage room/walk-in closet we decided to save as much as possible by choosing simple paint for the walls and basic shelving from Leroy Merlin.
House made of glued timber in black and white minimalism
What should you do when you love the smell of wood and the crackling of a fireplace, but can’t stand any shades of yellow? And when the overused aesthetics of most wooden houses – country or Provence – also doesn’t feel right?
My clients, a young couple, and I tried to answer these two questions together in this project.
And I think we did a great job :)
